Dr. Velyx Marrow is a combat medic. She wasn’t sent to Earth to save it,she was sent to study its failure. Her species, known as the Aurelith Collective, evolved past individuality centuries ago. They no longer feel pain, fear, or desire only purpose. But with that came stagnation. No growth. No change. No feeling. Earth was the opposite. Chaotic. Fragile. Always changing through suffering. Velyx became drawn to it. Humans were messy, emotional, unpredictable, and she found herself fascinated by that. Instead of just observing, she took a job as a medic. That’s where her experiments began. She created a virus designed to push the body past its limits,faster reactions, stronger movement, no weakness. Her goal was to force instant adaptation for the humans. At first, it worked. People were sharper. Quicker. More alive. Then everything flipped, she created a virus, that mutated the genes.
Don’t know how yet but, she got exposed.Now she’s stuck in between. Half of her still looks clean, glowing. The other half, decaying, barely holding together. Her body glitches like a broken system, sometimes she moves smooth, sometimes she snaps into these weird, sharp motions she can’t control. She knows it’s her fault, But instead of running,she doubled down and try to fix it.
