For this project, I created a 3D RYB color model in Blender to show how primary colors (red, yellow, and blue) mix to form secondary colors. I focused on using simple shapes and lighting to make the relationships between the colors clear and visually understandable. While working on it, I realized that even though the model is helpful for showing basic color mixing, it has limitations because it doesn’t fully represent the full range of colors we can see, especially compared to digital color systems.

Reflection
At first I thought making the 3D color model would be pretty simple since it was just basic shapes and colors. But once I started working in Blender, it ended up being more challenging than I expected.
The main thing I struggled with was getting everything to look right visually, especially with the lighting and how the colors interacted. I had to keep adjusting the lights and materials because sometimes the colors looked too dull or too harsh, and it didn’t really show the idea of color mixing the way I wanted.
I also had to think about placement and composition more than I thought I would. Moving the spheres around and trying to balance the primary and secondary colors took a lot of trial and error. I wanted it to look clean but still clearly show how the colors relate to each other.
